A special feature of the self-propelled E 450ZR, E550ZR, and E650ZR scarifiers is that the cutting blades rotate counterclockwise. This allows for much more efficient removal of thatch and moss from the lawn.
The machines also come standard with Double Cut™ blades. These are very thin blades that are only 15 mm apart.
This provides a very intensive lawn cleaning, eliminating the need for cross-cut scarifying. The E ZR scarifiers are available in three working widths: 45cm, 55cm, and 65cm.
ELIET attaches wheel scrapers as standard to the wheels of its professional scarifiers. Any adhering dirt is immediately swept off the wheels. This is convenient because scarifying is often done in wet weather. The loosened moss then easily sticks to the wheels, causing the machines to bounce across the lawn, clearly visible in the raked result.
The blades on this machine rotate in the opposite direction to the direction of travel. This allows them to grip the felt layer even more effectively and throw it over the top. This increases scarifying efficiency by up to 30% compared to a conventional scarifier.
The E550ZR’s exceptionally fine blades also feature Permanently Sharp BladesTM technology.
The handlebar is height-adjustable and features vibration damping. All controls are centrally located on the handlebar.
Thanks to its excellent weight distribution, the E550ZR is very easy to handle. Even tight turns in a small garden are effortless.
The usual working depth is 2 mm. This minimizes blade braking, allowing the lawn to remove moss and thatch at full speed. The blades don't cut through the roots, significantly reducing the lawn's recovery time after scarifying. Correctly adjusting the depth requires very fine depth control. For this purpose, the E550ZR features infinitely variable adjustment on each front wheel. This allows for a consistent depth across the entire blade shaft.
No more pushing: the E550ZR is self-propelled! Its powerful 6.5-hp Honda GX200 gasoline engine keeps you moving at a constant speed, regardless of the terrain.
Traction is provided by a rubber roller with a diameter of no less than 15 cm. This roller also smooths out any unevenness.
The E550ZR is equipped with 66 Double Cut™ blades. These ultra-fine blades are made of a very hard metal and are spaced only 15 mm apart. This ensures a very fine and intensive lawn cleaning. The blades also have a self-sharpening effect, ensuring they maintain their sharpness throughout their service life.
