Hatchet

A chopping axe can be used for a wide variety of tasks. This tool is used to chop or split wood. Depending on the axe's size, a small chopping axe can be used for chopping small pieces of wood. Forest axe

A forestry axe is the larger and heavier version of the axe category. It's typically used for logging or forestry, for example, splitting wood. Because it's larger and heavier, it can be used for larger pieces of wood, allowing you to remove firewood, construction timber, or obstacles in the forest. Splitting axe

Compared to a standard axe, the splitting axe has a wider axe head, allowing for sharper and thinner chopping. This makes a splitting axe suitable, for example, for splitting pieces of wood into smaller pieces for firewood or construction timber. The wider axe head allows for cutting between the wood fibers, splitting the wood instead of chopping it. Splitting hammer

A variation on the traditional hammer is the splitting maul. Its wider, heavier head allows you to generate more impact force, allowing you to hammer deeper into the wood. This allows you to work with less effort and achieves better results due to the more even distribution of force.
