Even though this E401 is the smallest scarifier in the ELIET range, it's still capable of exceptional performance. This scarifier is often put to the test in common applications, such as rental use. Its robust construction guarantees its durability. For the operator's safety and to protect bystanders from potential stone chips, the blade shaft is housed in a thick steel housing.

An ELIET scarifier with a 40 cm working width features a rotor mounted with 14 fixed blades. Each blade has two blade tips, which means it makes two raking movements with each rotation of the shaft. The blades are also spirally mounted so they don't contact the ground simultaneously, preventing the grass from being pulled up.

The E401 has wheels with a diameter of 20 cm. Large wheels run much smoother and are less sensitive to uneven terrain. The nylon rims are impact-resistant, and the roller bearings are also quite resistant to the sand and dust released during scarifying.

The front wheels are infinitely adjustable. Because the height adjustment on each front wheel must be adjusted individually, you can also be sure the blade shaft has the correct depth setting across the entire working width.

The rear wheel height adjustment features several fixed settings. This dual adjustment allows you to fully wear down the blades.

Efficient scarifiers often involve a lot of cleanup. ELIET lends a helping hand with the collection bag on the E401. The wide opening ensures the bag is properly filled. The generous 60-liter capacity of this collection bag can collect moss from several tens of meters. This conveniently saves you the tedious task of clearing it away.

Even when working without a collection bag, the large volume of raked moss should be removed easily from under the chassis, without exposing the operator to the projection of the blades. The well-sized rubber mud flap effectively catches all the splashing dust and sand.

Trouble-free operation year after year was the guiding principle behind the development of the vertical belt tensioner. Thanks to this system, the belt retains its natural shape even during operation. This minimizes belt wear, significantly extending its lifespan.

The machine's handle can be easily folded. This means the Eliet E401 won't take up much space in your garage, storage space, or the trunk of your car.
