The STIHL HTA 160 cordless pole pruner is an indispensable aid for professionals working in tree care, fruit growing, agriculture and forestry, and even for municipal services during their various tasks: debranching trees, removing dead and storm wood, or pruning fruit trees.

The powerful EC engine of the STIHL HTA 160 draws its power from lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AP System. Thanks to the lightweight yet robust magnesium drive, the machine is easy to maneuver. The pole pruner can prune branches and trees up to 20 cm in diameter. It features a square professional telescopic handle for excellent guidance. Thanks to the quick-adjustment feature, you can easily adjust the total length of the HTA 160 to 405 cm to suit your needs. This guarantees precise positioning and accurate pruning, even in the highest parts of the tree. Furthermore, the pole pruner offers the necessary reach to work at heights of up to five meters – ideal for thinning treetops. The HTA 160 is compatible with STIHL 3/8" P chains, such as the STIHL 3/8" P Picco Micro 3 (PM3), and STIHL 1/4" P chains, such as the 1/4" P Picco Micro 3 (PM3). When used with the STIHL 1/4" saw chain, you don't need hearing protection, ideal for working in noise-sensitive environments.

The HTA 160 is also equipped with a robust cast pruning hook on the compact cutting head, allowing you to easily collect and remove pruning waste from the tree. The sprocket cover has an integrated gauge strip for precise positioning and a side ejection system for shavings. All controls of the STIHL HTA 160 are within easy reach on the ergonomically optimized control panel with LED display. The standard STIHL support protects the engine housing from ground contact. An easy-to-clean air filter with metal mesh keeps the engine cool, ensuring the long life of your STIHL HTA 160. During extended work, the optional STIHL RTS backpack system ensures less fatigue and greater freedom of movement.

The STIHL HTA 160 has a total length of 285 cm to 405 cm.

All cordless tools in the STIHL AP system are designed for professional users and for everyday use, even in inclement weather. They are therefore equipped with proven splash protection, proven through sophisticated internal testing. The splash water test is based on the IPX4 standard.
