Regular routine maintenance, such as replacing the air and fuel filters and changing the spark plug, is usually quick and helps the prolong the life of the brushcutter . In this way you contribute to the prevention of dirt and damage to the components and parts and you ensure that your machine always works reliably and optimally.
The STIHL Service Kit 20 for FS 160, FS 180 and FS 220 contains the following elements for a standard maintenance:
- Air filter
- Spark plug
- Fuel filter
To keep the combustion in the engine clean and to optimize the performance of your brushcutter engine, we recommend replace the spark plug regularly. The fuel filter helps prevent foreign particles from entering the engine through the fuel . Regular replacement of this part helps to protect the engine and thus extends the life of your machine. Replace the air filter at the latest when you notice that the engine performs less well, for example when starting. That way the engine of your STIHL machine stays well protected against the ingress of abrasive dust .
To replace the air filter and the spark plug, it is best to use the convenient combi key supplied with your STIHL brushcutter. A cardboard hook is also included in the Service Kit package. This allows you to remove and replace the fuel filter. You have no additional tools necessary.
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited with the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the costs for returning from your home to the webshop are for your own account. If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all accessories supplied and - if reasonably possible - in its original condition and packaging.
