The STIHL FSA 80 R cordless edger guarantees excellent mowing performance. It's suitable for mowing grass, but also for quickly and easily trimming the edges of small lawns in private gardens. This powerful STIHL AK system edger is so quiet that you can use it without ear protection, even in noise-sensitive areas.
The STIHL FSA 80 R boasts excellent balance. Its compact design and loop handle with soft components guarantee optimal mowing flexibility and freedom of movement – particularly useful for maintenance work between trees and shrubs or in other tight spaces. Thanks to the quick-release system, the loop handle can be easily adjusted to the user's height, allowing you to create the most ergonomic working position at all times.
The brushless EC motor features a 2-speed variable speed control, allowing you to adjust the speed directly from the control lever to your needs. If you want to work at a low speed, for example, for lighter tasks like maintaining lawn edges, it's best to choose ECO mode (level 1). This reduces energy consumption and extends the battery life. For more demanding tasks, such as mowing dense grass, you need the full power of your machine. In that case, simply select level 2. The speed automatically adjusts to the mounted cutting attachment and is infinitely variable.
The STIHL FSA 80 R comes standard with the STIHL AutoCut 27-2 mowing head. A wide selection of additional cutting tools is also available as options. The machine is equipped with a practical mounting ring that can be adjusted to the user's height without tools, allowing you to attach the standard STIHL carrying strap. It also has a hanging loop for wall mounting.
