It's so quiet that you can safely use it without ear protection, in enclosed spaces or in noise-sensitive areas such as residential areas.
The powerful and energy-efficient EC motor and the standard 30 cm cutting attachment, consisting of the 1/4" P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) saw chain and the STIHL Rollomatic E Mini guide bar, guarantee an impeccable cutting result.
The optimal balance and the rubberized handle with Ergo lever offer optimal comfort and improved ergonomics. Thanks to the control handle with potentiometer function, you can adjust the speed of your machine infinitely. With the STIHL chain quick tensioner, you can tighten the chain of the MSA 70 C easily, safely, and without tools. The additional QuickStop Super chain brake improves your safety by immediately stopping the chain when you release the rear handle. Thanks to the transparent oil tank, you can always keep an eye on the oil level. When transporting or storing the STIHL MSA 70 C, you can place the battery in the intermediate position. This ensures it is properly secured in the machine but does not make electrical contact.
