The STIHL FSA 30 battery-powered edger is a compact machine that is particularly suitable for trimming medium-high grass, maintaining edges and simple mowing work around trees, under bushes or along walls and stairs.
The electric motor is so quiet that you don't need hearing protection while working. This makes the brushcutter perfect for use in noise-sensitive environments. This entry-level model draws its power from replaceable batteries from the flexible STIHL AS system. Thanks to the LEDs on the machine, you can check the battery charge level at any time.
The STIHL FSA 30 comes standard with the STIHL PolyCut 3-2 mowing head, featuring two robust, hinged PolyCut plastic blades. You can store up to six of these PolyCut replacement blades in the dedicated holder on the machine. When the blades on your mowing head become worn, you can replace them quickly and without tools. The FSA 30 is also compatible with the optional AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head and its 1.4 mm diameter mowing line.
With its ergonomic design, flexible adjustment options, and weighing just 2.3 kg including the battery, the FSA 30 makes work more comfortable and less tiring. The rubberized handle fits comfortably in the hand, making it easy and intuitive to use. Furthermore, the FSA 30 can be easily adjusted to the user's height thanks to the telescopic shaft and loop handle, which can be easily adjusted at the touch of a button. The working angle of the cutting unit is also easily adjustable for even greater comfort while mowing – and the cutting unit can be easily rotated 90° for a clean cut along the edges. The spacer bar can be folded up and down as needed for precise and careful mowing around trees, bushes, and other objects. The FSA 30 is equipped with a convenient hanging loop, so you can easily hang it on a wall in the garage or tool shed.
