The powerful MS 400 CM is the first chainsaw in the world to be equipped with a magnesium piston. Combined with a light and efficient design, this results in an extremely low power-to-weight ratio of less than 1.45 kg/kW. The petrol chainsaw MS 400 CM is also the first machine to be equipped with a new 67 cm³ engine with a power of 4.0 kW designed entirely by STIHL. This powerful petrol chainsaw is easy to start thanks to the STIHL M-Tronic system and is very well equipped. Perfectly in its element, the MS 400 CM offers fast acceleration and is ideal for felling and stripping trees and for cutting wood in medium-heavy forests.
